Delta Gear an Aerospace company is an AS9100 and ISO
9001 registered facility which manufactures Gear Products, Prototype/ Production, and Transmission Builds. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non‑destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch.
Openings on both 1st and 2nd Shift
1st Shift
Hours:
Monday‑Friday 6:00am‑2:30pm (1‑2 hrs daily overtime and some weekends)
2nd Shift
Hours:
Monday‑Friday 4:00pm‑12:30am (1‑2 hrs daily overtime and some weekends)
- Properly set tools in machine locations required for set‑up
- Perform part changeover including program retrieval and input
- Effectively use pre‑setter arm or tool setter and comp tools
- Establish Z set‑up position for sub‑spindle
- Calculate and input axis coordinates X, Y and Z or use spindle probe to determine work offsets
- Change out all tooling and properly build mill tools
- General understanding of CNC programs
- Perform operator intervened operations that are required by CNC program sequences
- Will be required to perform secondary work such as deburr, polish, and part cleaning
- Responsible for cleaning and keeping work area neat and orderly
- High school Diploma or GED
- Two years minimum experience as CNC Machinist / Operator
- Ability to perform secondary work such as deburr, polish, and part cleaning
- Must be able to inspect and be accountable for own parts
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with close tolerances (.0001")
- Must be able to keep multiple machines running
