The Siemens DI Sales organization ideally focuses on providing solutions tailored to the specific needs of companies operating across a multitude of discrete, process, and hybrid industries. The CTO Customer Collaboration organization plays a crucial role in understanding needs of forward‑thinking customers, positioning Siemens as a technology leader to drive digital transformation today and tomorrow for and with our customers, aligning the value of innovative and evolving Siemens solutions with customer pain points, and deploying a combination of existing, evolving and exploring product portfolio elements (HW, SW, Services) as functional solutions at customer sites, continuously learning and constantly improving.

As we embark on an ambitious journey of digital transformation, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Technical Consultant to spearhead our Digital Transformation Pioneering & Deployment team. This pivotal role is at the heart of our mission to redefine our Industrial Operations X Innovation Portfolio and develop and deploy novel Enterprise Solution Architectures with innovative customers and partners, driving innovation through digital excellence and collaboration.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Solution Architect for our Smart Manufacturing and Digital Thread team. This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the continental US.

• Managing and owning customer engagement across multiple manufacturing industries and segments, acting as a trusted advisor from both business and technical perspectives.
• Leveraging a deep understanding of customer business needs, engineering processes, and industry best practices to engage Siemens and partner resources effectively.
• Conducting visioning and scoping workshops, identifying collaboration opportunities and defining key sales scenarios generating immediate business revenue and impact and expediting sales processes.
• Developing solution architectures, demos and presenting those in workshops, proof‑of‑concept sessions, and status reviews.
• Managing stakeholder expectations and technical implementation, addressing ambiguity, scope creep, and technical challenges.
• Leveraging customer validation centers to assess technical feasibility of novel solution architectures prior to first customer deployments, then exposing them to larger sales & customer audiences.
• Maintaining strong knowledge of Siemens DI automation and software portfolios, connecting these to digital threads that deliver comprehensive solutions for customer core business challenges.
• Maintaining and updating dashboards and/or other related documentation of customer workshops, customer success stories, sales opportunities, and relevant discovery efforts.
• Collecting, structuring, and communicating customer requirements through internal tools, enhancing feedback loops for portfolio and product development.
• Advocating for transformative ideas and amplifying the voice of the customer to influence product roadmaps, organizational priorities, and global strategies.
• Establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with Sales, Business Development, Account Teams, and Vertical market teams to identify and prioritize co‑innovation and digital transformation opportunities.
• Attracting and retaining customers through superior value delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, computer science or IT with focus on fields relevant to Siemens Digital Industries e.g. automation, simulation, AI/ML. MBA is a plus.
