Position DetailsJob Title: On-Call EMS Clinical Coordinator (Applicant Pool)
Summary: The EMT Clinical Coordinator will coordinate and support instructional activities at clinical sites for EMS programs. Responsibilities include scheduling, advising students during clinicals, maintaining affiliation agreements with EMS providers, and reporting to the Program Coordinator and department administrator.

Job Duties:
- Coordinate scheduling of preceptors and students
- Track student progress and ensure course requirements are met
- Maintain affiliation agreements
- Develop communication with clinical sites
- Provide student orientation
- Assist in developing clinical policies
- Manage student and clinical records
- Oversee clinical objectives
- Report on clinical program status
- Support instructional activities
- Schedule and coordinate clinical instruction with didactic courses
- Evaluate clinical experiences for quality and appropriateness
- Maintain outcome records and visit clinical sites regularly
- Participate in curriculum planning and college meetings
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited institution
- Current Michigan Licensed Paramedic
- Current Michigan Licensed Paramedic Instructor/Coordinator with teaching experience
- At least three years of paramedic experience
Additional Qualifications:
- Critical thinking, integrity, initiative
- Knowledge of EMS regulations and training requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and FISDAP (preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, safety, and clinical agreements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Supervisory experience
Physical Requirements: Sedentary work involving lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. Specific duties vary.
