Fountain Bleu – 28910 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150

Schedule:

Part Time, Monday‑Friday, 20‑25 hrs/week

General Summary

Provide speech‑language pathology services to patients with cognitive/communicative or swallowing dysfunction. This includes assessment, treatment planning, implementation, documentation, and adherence to licensure laws and ASHA standards.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient status.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that maximize independence per ASHA ethical standards.
  • Monitor treatment effects and modify plans for optimal benefit.
  • Supervise and review work of clinical fellows and assistants per ASHA standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other practitioners to integrate therapy into overall care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records to meet quality and reimbursement guidelines.
  • Participate in patient and family care conferences.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities and agency meetings as directed.
  • Advocate for current clinical practices through continuing education and certifications.
  • Contribute to new program development to expand clinical services.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
  • State of Michigan licensure.
