We are currently seeking an intern for Construction Quality Assurance Technician (CQA) to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals.

Position Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with landfill gas system construction, landfill cell construction, and landfill final cover construction.
• Perform quality control inspections on construction projects.
• Work on-site under the supervision of experienced project managers.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Develop skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
• Learn to use specialized equipment and software for data collection and analysis.
• Collect and analyze data by conducting routine environmental monitoring and testing.
• Communicate regularly, accurately, and effectively with all clients, project managers, and all team members.
• Complete required safety training, including HAZWOPER.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including completion of required logs, paperwork, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in environmental science and engineering.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and challenging environments.
• Extended travel to landfills and solid waste facilities, primarily rural locations (90%)
