YOUR ROLE

ST is excited to welcome a Field Quality Engineer Intern at our office located in Livonia, MI. We prefer a student who can intern through December 2026.

* Shadow our Field Quality Engineering team to support our customer quality support.

* Reporting on quality topics to internal shareholders and manage workplans to ensure issues are being addressed.

* Review and assess the performance of internal 8D reports.

* Developing tools to track internal and customer quality metrics and to detect early warning signals in data.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

* Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering

* Previous semiconductor supplier internship experience is a plus

* Experience of automotive semiconductor customers and product markets

* Knowledge of automotive business systems

* Knowledge of semiconductors and process

* Understanding of the Eight Disciplines (8D) Problem Solving Process

* Proactive and motivated personality

* Experience with a program language and Power

BI is preferred

* Strong communication skills

At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base hourly rate range for this role is between $30 and $41 USD.
