We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Preschool Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily educational activities and overall support of our preschool classroom. This role is integral to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Support children during activities to foster a love for learning and exploration.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom setting.
- Facilitate effective communication with parents and guardians regarding the well-being and progress of their children.
- Encourage positive behavior and social interactions among children.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of snacks and meals, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Supervision of multiple students at once
- Establishing routines and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and orderly environment

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Occasionally lift/move objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- Stand and walk frequently
- Occasionally sit on the floor or bend down/squat
- Withstand all demands presented by outside weather conditions at any time of the year
- Withstand a moderate noise level
- Be able to perform first aid/CPR if necessary
- Assist/lift students, as necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in early childhood education or child development is preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
