Job Summary
The Distance Learning (DL) Operations Coordinator is responsible for the management of the department’s operations, events, and key functions. The DL Operations Coordinator is proactively responsible for implementing, coordinating, and facilitating a variety of multifaceted tasks in the successful operation of the Distance Learning Department. The DL Operations Coordinator engages in project management, relationship-building, cross-collaboration, and department operations coordination. The DL Operations Coordinator serves as a departmental advisor of operations to the Dean and a liaison to the campus community.
This position is located on the main campus and requires regular inter-campus travel in support of the department and role.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Two (2) years of higher education office management experience.
- Skilled in the use of computer software programs including Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), reporting tools, web pages, and other technical programs.
- Office management experience with higher education distance learning programs.
- Project management experience.
- Proven experience in the use of Windows operating systems, collaboration tools (i.e., Zoom, Teams, Collaborate), and learning management systems (i.e., Blackboard).

Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. - Physical Demands:

This role may involve being in a stationary position in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse (or applicable equipment) and telephone. This role may also involve standing and walking for periods of time, and the use of hands and moving objects on occasion, of up to 10-20 lbs.
