Requirements
Board-certified/board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, including high-risk pregnancies and obstetrical emergencies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Committed to high-quality, patient-centered care
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Conduct prenatal visits and manage routine and high-risk pregnancies
Monitor labor and perform deliveries, including cesarean sections
Conduct gynecologic exams, screenings, and minor procedures
Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions
Document visits and maintain medical records
Coordinate care with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare providers
Educate patients on reproductive health and treatment plans
Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
On-call coverage for deliveries or emergencies as needed
