Starting Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour (flat rate).

As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear can offer you opportunities to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while delivering an excellent guest experience. You will also mentor and learn about new technologies in a team environment.

• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills.
• Inspect, repair, and diagnose systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and cooling systems.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay current with evolving automotive technology. Promote teamwork to deliver on-time, accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Maintain standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping. Use protective equipment when operating machinery and hand tools.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including handling tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver s license.
• Must have three years of experience in automotive repair, including diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  ASE A4 (Steering and Suspension) and A5 (Brakes), plus State inspection licenses and/or MAC certification.

• Flexible schedule to cover business needs; stores may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to use technology and various applications to support diagnostics.
• Use tools, skills, and product knowledge to make recommendations to guests per manufacturer guidelines.

• ASE reimbursement with pay increases (brakes, electrical, AC and heating, engine performance, engine repair).

• Flat-rate role with a 75% guarantee (30 hours booked per week).
