AP Accountant

Description We are looking for a skilled AP Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Livonia, Michigan. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in bookkeeping and accounting processes, ensuring the accurate management of financial transactions. Responsibilities:

- Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Utilize Quick Books to maintain accurate financial records and process transactions.

- Reconcile bank statements to ensure financial data integrity.

- Prepare and review financial reports for management.

- Handle invoice processing and payment scheduling in a timely manner.

- Maintain organized records of financial documentation.

- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounting entries.

- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Collaborate with team members to support overall financial operations. Requirements - Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or AP Accountant.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

- Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.

- Effective communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.
