Overview
:
We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates to join our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves greeting, engaging with customers, processing sales and loans, and resolving inquiries while working with a wide variety of merchandise including tools, electronics, jewelry, and, in FFL locations, firearms.

Compensation Details
:
Base hourly wage plus sales commission. Commission information is specific to performance and is discussed during the interview process. Earned wage access and other benefits are available as described below.

Position Summary

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage, PLUS commission based on productivity. The actual pay will be based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
:

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers and collaborates to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
:

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
