Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Essential Job Functions
- Follow and promote all customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, etc.)
- Greet retail/walk-in customers friendly and assist with selection.
- Assist managers/installer service specialists serve professional customers.
- Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
- Provide excellent telephone service by answering, accurately looking up parts and quoting prices, recommending premium/related items, and offering Low‑Price Guarantee.
- Maintain and secure cash drawer accurately; accept cash/checks, make accurate change, process credit card transactions.
- Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner in accordance with policies.
- Address and resolve customer complaints friendly manner.
- Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates: freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting/facing, cleaning.
- Perform daily operational tasks: prepare new/core/warranty merchandise returns to DC, assist monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts.
- Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training.
- Perform in‑store services for customers (install wipers, test/charge batteries, scan codes, replace headlight capsules).
- Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Provide outstanding, friendly, professional customer service.
- Multitask handling customers on phone and in store simultaneously.
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
- ASE certification.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish desired).
