Maintenance Tech - Plant - 3Rd Shift

Support the manufacturing operations department by performing preventative and responsive maintenance of equipment in a safe manner in conformance to customer quality and on-time delivery requirements, utilizing the work orders and standardized work.

• Able to work at height from a ladder or lift, have own tools,
• Train Other Employees (new hires or transfers)
• Work well with others, possess a willingness to learn and share his/her knowledge with others, able to work under stress
• Understanding the urgency to reduce downtime
• Must be able to work without direct supervision, must be resourceful and a self
  -starter
• Must possess and maintain an excellent work and attendance record
• Lift 35 lbs frequently throughout the work shift, up to 75lbs on occasion
• Maintain good attendance as well as qualitative and quantitative performance standards
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and manage the PM system
• Perform inventory control duties with maintenance material parts
• Perform other duties as may be assigned
• Practice safety and environmental awareness at all times on the job and on company property, including parking lot
• Other duties as needed.
• Must actively support our Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, immediately report all dangerous situations and correct them when able to do so safely, participate in all required Safety Training, meetings, inspections and use all required PPE.

Two year industrial maintenance degree/certificate required or equivalent experience in related field. Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment. Must be available to work overtime as needed. Position requirements include possessing ability in performing all phases of design, construction and troubleshooting in the following areas:
General machine experience, Knowledge of PLC's, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Robotics, Welding, Electrical systems of both-AC/DC circuitry, Motor controls, and Plumbing.
