Regional Sales Manager

Position Objective

Responsible for management and marketing activities, developing sales for a region of multiple states for a select customer base to achieve required growth, meet sales objectives, execute our strategic plan, and annual planning and budgeting. Representing the full line of Inteplast Group products, the primary objective of this role is to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, utilizing your exceptional organizational and sales skills.

Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience as a Regional Sales Manager with at least five (5) years of experience in distribution sales, ideally with customers in distribution, janitorial & sanitation supply, facility supply, along with a proven track record of positive customer relationships and sales growth.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Sales and marketing:
    Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product innovation, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems.
  • Customer and personal service:
    Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative and management:
    Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.
  • Other experience in business management and marketing is a plus.
  • Preferred prior experience within the plastics or related industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
  • Ability to speak in front of both small and large groups.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Work Experience & Environment
  • Travel 30% to 50% and could include overnight travel as required.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the United States attending meetings with customers/prospects and sales functions such as trade shows, etc.

  • Must be able to participate in periodic conferences that require 8 to 10 hours daily interacting with potential customers.
