Pay Range$47.85 – $76.27 per hour
Job OverviewCooperman Barnabas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, skilled care in our Emergency Department. The RN will work with a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality emergency services across all patient care areas.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
- Baccalaureate or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current and active New Jersey RN licensure required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, APLS, or ENPC courses required; BLS upon hire
- ACLS upon hire or within 6 months of start date
- PALS/APLS/ENPC upon hire or within 1 year of start date
- IV certification from an approved facility or completion of IV certification requirements within 90 days of hire
- Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
- Strong critical‑thinking and assessment skills
- American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Night Shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12.5‑hour shift (37.5 hours per week)
- Availability to work every other weekend and rotate holidays
- Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring ethical practice per ANA code of ethics.
- Maintain patient safety, including identifying hazardous environments and reporting medical errors.
- Disseminate accurate patient population knowledge and supervise delegation of tasks to team members.
- Consistently set and evaluate priorities, applying evidence‑based interventions with measurable outcomes.
- Participate in patient teaching, discharge planning, and performance improvement activities.
- Integrate the nursing process into individualized care plans and function as an interdisciplinary team manager.
