Job Overview

The Manager of the Nursing Supervisor department represents hospital Administration and serves as the delegated agent of the hospital administrative team and is invested with the authority of the same on the assigned shift. Responsible for overseeing the Nursing Supervisor team to coordinate and evaluate management and clinical practice activities throughout the Medical Center during the off shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN from an accredited school
  • Minimum of three/3 years of nursing experience required
  • Minimum of two/2 years of supervisory or management experience required
  • Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
  • Successful completion of all orientation programs

Preferred:

  • MSN from an accredited school

Certifications and Licenses

Required:

  • Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Scheduling Requirements
  • Full-Time
  • Day shift
  • 37.5 hrs. weekly
