Qualifications:

Required:

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required.

Certifications and Licenses

Required:

* Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Scheduling Requirements:

* Evenings

* PT

Essential Functions:

* Operates and assists in the monitoring of a patient on the Cardio thoracic Step down Unit.

* Administers individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardio thoracic step down unit procedures.

* Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures under the direction and supervision of an RN.

* Executes special assignments with the unit assigned to them by the Nurse Manager/PCC/CC/RN.
