Outpatient Therapist (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC)
Compensation: $100-200/hour
Location: This is an on-site role based out of Livingston, NJ
Employment Type: W-2 Employee, Part-Time (12 hours per week)
The Outpatient Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families while maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time in collaboration with a supportive clinical team. This opportunity requires experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.
Preferred applicants will have strong community ties/connections and/or have an established transferable private practice caseload of 6+ clients.
Outpatient Therapist Responsibilities- Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate or co-facilitate individual and group sessions, teaching and utilizing DBT principles
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities
- Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
- Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
- Maintain an active caseload of approximately 12 hours per week
- Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
- Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies
- Compensation: $100-200 per hour; paid bi-weekly
- 20-hour Paid Training in DBT-Informed Therapy
- Billing, scheduling, and intake support
- Flexible scheduling and telehealth options
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license:
Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in New Jersey, or - Active, provisional license: LSW, LAMFT, and LAC in New Jersey
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
- Training or experience in DBT is a plus
- Ability to provide therapy independently
- Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
- Experience conducting psychotherapy with children and adolescents
- Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
- Preferred candidates will be an established private practice therapist with a transferable caseload and/or strong community ties/connections
