Job Overview

The Caregiver will report to the Health & Wellness Director. This is a part‑time, non‑exempt, hourly position. The successful candidate will assist residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.

Schedule & Salary

Part‑Time
Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 hourly

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Provide resident care as outlined in their care plan, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents.
  • Escort residents to meals and activities.
  • Ensure all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
  • Document all services provided to your assigned residents during your shift.
  • Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
  • Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience.
Physical Abilities
  • The associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
