Position: RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist for Full-Time Employment in Livingston, NJ

RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Hematology Oncology Attending Medical Oncologist in Livingston, NJ

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in New Jersey, and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the states only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, are seeking a Hematology Oncology Attending Medical Oncologist (Open Rank) to join the oncology team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) in Livingston, NJ. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical foundation in hematologic malignancies and classical hematology, a passion for advancing patient care through research and education, and enthusiasm for multidisciplinary collaboration.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician to practice in a collaborative environment that combines community-based excellence with the research, academic, and clinical resources of an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with malignant and classical hematologic disorders
  • Participate in tumor boards, clinical trials, and disease study groups locally and through the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey
  • Devote 4-5 days per week to clinical practice, including outpatient and inpatient coverage
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within the RWJBarnabas Health Cooperman Infusion Center to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Contribute to the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical and academic appointments
  • Participate in departmental committees, educational programs, and outreach initiatives to enhance the Oncology Programs visibility and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Board-certified or Board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $400,000 to $800,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidates educational background, skills, and professional experience
