My client are currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their site on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Shift FlexibilityRole requires flexibility to 4 on 4 off night‑shift / dayshift rota.
Duties & Responsibilities- Carry out repairs, maintenance work and routine testing on all plant machinery and equipment
- Complete planned maintenance work orders
- Ensure all auditable paperwork is completed and filed correctly
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance and assist in developing preventive maintenance mechanisms
- Support KPI improvements
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical discipline
- Electrical biased role; experience with PLCs and automation systems highly desirable
- Experience of maintenance engineering gained in the manufacturing sector
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics desirable
Salary £49.5k + bonus, private healthcare & pension.
