Are you an experienced physiotherapist with strong leadership skills and a passion for high-quality assessment and rehabilitation? This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied and rewarding role within West Lothian’s expanding community services.

West Lothian continues to invest in delivering rehabilitation closer to home through the Home First programme. Significant developments including enhanced AHP staffing and the introduction of a community single point of contact are strengthening patient pathways and improving access to timely, person-centred care.

We are looking for an experienced Band 6 or Band 7 Physiotherapist to provide cover and maintain continuity of safe, effective clinical leadership. The Band 7 Team Lead position plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care, offering consistent clinical oversight, and supporting smooth patient flow to meet key performance targets. This post also provides essential supervision and guidance to staff, helping to sustain morale, professional development, and overall wellbeing.

You will become part of a stable, dynamic multidisciplinary team dedicated to integrated working and delivering excellent patient outcomes. The role includes close collaboration with inpatient teams to facilitate early supported discharge and provide high-quality rehabilitation within the community.

• Provide leadership and clinical oversight as Band 7 Physiotherapy Team Lead within the Intermediate Care Team.
• Support safe, effective clinical practice and ensure high-quality patient care with a focus on timely, person-centred rehabilitation.
• Supervise and guide staff to sustain morale, professional development, and overall wellbeing.
• Collaborate closely with inpatient teams to facilitate early supported discharge and improve patient pathways.
• contribute to service development and delivery within the Home First community framework.

• Qualified physiotherapist with significant experience and leadership capabilities.
• Experience at Band 6 or Band 7 level preferred, with a track record of clinical leadership and team supervision.
• Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams and with inpatient colleagues.
