We are now looking for a DSEAR Project Engineer to join our E&M division. This is an exciting opportunity to work on varied projects across the central belt of Scotland, ensuring compliance and excellence in hazardous area environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare detailed and accurate Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Create and approve Single Line & Loop diagrams.
  • Conduct site surveys, including measurements, photos, and process reviews.
  • Resolve technical and logistical challenges as they arise.
  • Support site needs for materials, labour, resources, and plant.
  • Lead procurement through Bill of Materials creation and review.
  • Manage workload to meet project schedules and deadlines.
  • Attend client meetings and undertake HSEQ audits when required.
  • Report project progress to senior management and ensure programme adherence.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with BS60079, DSEAR & HSE regulations.
What We’re Looking For
  • Electrical and/or Instrumentation background with hazardous area experience.
  • Knowledge of the water industry is advantageous.
  • Relevant qualifications:
    Electrical Engineering degree, HND, C&G, or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years industry experience.
  • Compex 01-04 (required; upskilling available for the right candidate).
  • Compex 05-06 and Compex 12 (advantageous).
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
