Fully Skilled CNC Machine Programmer / Setter / Operator
Location:
Roberttown, Liversedge (WF15)
Rate: £16.00 – £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours:
39 hours per week – Day Shift
* Monday–Thursday: 06:00 – 15:00
* Friday: 06:00 – 11:00
(A 7:00am–4:00pm shift pattern can be agreed)

The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fully Skilled CNC Machine Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a growing engineering business based in Roberttown, Liversedge.
This is a hands-on machining role offering long-term stability, overtime, and progression within a supportive workshop environment. You will be responsible for producing small batch components to specification while supporting wider business needs during quieter periods.
The Role
The core of this position involves setting, programming, and operating CNC milling machines, working from engineering drawings and carrying out dimensional and visual inspections to ensure components meet quality standards. You will work to established processes and KPIs while contributing positively as part of a close-knit team.
This role would suit a motivated CNC professional who takes pride in accuracy, quality, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Set, program, and operate CNC milling machines
* Machine small batch quantities to specification
* Read and understand engineering drawings
* Carry out dimensional and visual inspection of components
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Follow company processes and procedures
* Work to set KPIs and production targets
* Support other areas of the business during quieter periods
About You
* Experience setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines
* Experience with Fanuc i0 controls essential
* Strong attention to detail with measuring and machining
* Reliable team player with a proactive approach
* Self-starter with a positive work ethic
