Inventory Control Lead

Stock accuracy is your superpower? We need you. Join the team as our Inventory Control expert, at this fast-paced warehouse operation in Sandbach, Cheshire . If you thrive on precision, love problem-solving, and take pride in keeping stock 100% accurate, this could be your next move. This is a hands-on role leading cycle counts and perpetual inventory (PI) activity across a busy warehouse environment.

You'll be the go-to person for stock integrity, working closely with operations to investigate discrepancies, maintain WMS accuracy, and drive continuous improvement. This full time, permanent role, is working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm (no evenings or weekends!) and pays a salary circa £32-34,000 depending on your skills and qualifications (e.g. forklift license) What you'll be doing:
Lead perpetual inventory and cycle count programmes Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies Maintain accurate WMS records and stock locations Support goods in, goods out, and stock movements Improve inventory processes and controls What you need to bring:
Proven stock control or inventory experience in a warehouse Confident WMS and Excel skills (ideally MS Dynamics, but not essential) Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and influence operational teams FLT/Telehandler licence would be helpful, but not essential This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership, accountability, and being the guardian of stock accuracy in a precision environment.
