Location: Bootle
Salary: £22.50 per hour
Shifts: Tuesday – Friday 10:00am – 20:00pm
Our client has been in the trade for over 40 years and is looking for a Highly Motivated and Skilled HGV Technician to join their team.
HGV Technician Role:- Perform repairs and regular maintenance on our heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), trailers, and other vehicles in our company fleet to keep them running smoothly and safely according to the current laws and regulations.
- Diagnose any issues with the fleet and make plans to fix them efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Keep track of all the parts and components we have in our workshop inventory so we can quickly access what we need for repairs.
- Provide roadside repair services in case any of our vehicles experience breakdowns while on the road, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain detailed records including inspection documents and job sheets to document the work done and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized workshop environment, regularly inspecting and maintaining equipment to meet health and safety standards.
- Fully Qualified (NVQ or City and Guilds)
- Own Tools
- Experience dealing with HGV Trucks (5 years)
- IRTEC Accredited (Desirable)
- Company pension
