HGV Class 2 Driver

We are now recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing work for a well-known retailer with its own distribution sector based in Speke. This is multi drop deliveries for the company. The vacancy will require flexibility from the HGV Driver with start times predominantly on days. This is a 7 day coverage and weekend work will be required. Hence the ideal applicants would be happy working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

The work will consist of store deliveries on roll cages (approx. 2-3 drops). Temp to perm contract and after qualifying probationary period will be funded by the company to progress and obtain their Class 1 licence

• 4 shifts per week guaranteed.

An HGV Class 2 Driver must have:

• Full HGV Class 2 license and will accept new passes
• Digital tacho card and valid CPC card
• A good understanding of Drivers hours and regulations
• Good understanding of the working time directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK road network
• Flexibility to accommodate shift patterns
• Customer focused attitude
• A willingness to learn
