Job  – Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver

We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract at our 709 branch located at 45 Everton Road, Liverpool, L6 2EH
.

Branch opens Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We need an individual who can work flexibly within these times, has great people skills and a desire to provide a professional service to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Reimbursement for mileage undertaken on business journeys will be at a rate of 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles, after which 25p per mile will be reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines. Fuel receipts must be obtained for each petrol station visit and the mileage claim submitted weekly.

• Deliver prescription items promptly and conscientiously to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, portraying a friendly professional image as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
• Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within designated time frames.
• Ensure prescriptions are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures.
• Plan and print daily routes in branch using basic computer skills before departure.
• Assist with PR exercises to increase business as required.

• Have very basic computer skills.
• Own a vehicle suitable for business use; personal insurance policy must allow for business use.
• Will provide proof of any increased premium for business coverage.
• Excellent people skills and ability to work as part of a well‑established team.
