Transport Operator

Transport Operator - Liverppol - Up to £35,000

Our client, a recognized transport company, is looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Liverpool.

As Transport Planner, you will be experienced in dealing with containers and routing company-owned vehicles UK-wide.

Hours:

Monday to Friday (Start times vary from 6am to 9am)

Salary:
Up to £35,000 DOE

• Routing company owned vehicles
• You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
• Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
• Ensure all customers are kept up to date
• All necessary admin must be completed
• You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
• Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies' requirements.

• Extensive Transport route planning skills
• Container experience required
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Strong communication skills
