Roadside Rescue Mechanic – Liverpool

Join The AA as a Roadside Rescue Mechanic in Liverpool. You will provide expert roadside assistance, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to keep members on the road safely.

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues on the roadside at member locations.
• Communicate clearly with members, explaining problems and solutions in an approachable way.
• Work independently and as part of a team, travelling to different locations in all weathers, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Use technical expertise to solve a variety of mechanical problems, from simple repairs to vehicle recovery.

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Full Category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

• Pay:
  Base salary £37,152 (40‑hour week), top performers can earn up to £60,000 OTE.
• Paid start and finish on your driveway; work from van and provide all equipment including uniform and boots.
• Full vehicle coverage from day one; 23 days holiday (increases with service).
