Position: Family Support Workers Contract)
Family Support Worker – Liverpool

We are currently recruiting experienced Family Support Workers to support children, young people and families across Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity to join services committed to improving outcomes for families through early intervention, practical support and partnership working.

The Role

As a Family Support Worker, you will work closely with families to provide guidance, practical assistance and targeted interventions. You will support children and parents to build resilience, improve family relationships and ensure children are safe and supported within their home environments.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct support to children, young people and families in their homes and communities

Work alongside social workers and other professionals to implement family support plans

Support parents with routines, boundaries and positive parenting strategies

Help families access education, health and community services

Maintain accurate case notes, reports and progress updates

Attend multi-agency meetings and reviews when required

Essential Requirements

Previous experience working in a Family Support Worker or similar family support role (essential)

Experience supporting vulnerable children and families

Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to build positive relationships and work within a multi-agency environment
