Intake Specialist

• Max duration 2 months, full-time opportunity, with hybrid/flexible working arrangements
• $43.08 - $46.35 + Super + Salary Packaging

We are seeking a dedicated Intake Specialist with experience in onboarding clients through the My Aged Care Portal, specifically with a focus on Commonwealth Home Support Programs clients.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Facilitating the sign on process for CHSP clients such as referrals and is expected to be the Coordinator of the client on boarded.
• Managing enquiries and accept new referrals through the MAC portal and via Careline and the Liverpool office for all potential Aged Care clients
• Maintaining extensive knowledge about aged care services and the broader market/sector trends and services (e.g., NDIS, Aged Care,DVA, family and community services, etc.)
• Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls /digital communications in a timely and highly professional client-focused manner
• Build relationships and engage potential and existing

To be a successful candidate you will have:

• Qualifications in a relevant discipline (such as Aged Care, Disability or Social Work) and/or significant relevant experience and strong knowledge of current Ageing sector and adequate understanding of NIDS and/or Child and Family services
• Strong communication skills to effectively guide clients through the intake process
• Strong IT skills, including data entry, database experience and ability to learn new systems
• Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with First Nations and CALD colleagues and clients
• Excellent and demonstrated client service skills and case management focus
• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
