Vehicle Telematics Mobile Engineer

Job Description
:
To be a member of our team of installation field engineers throughout the UK installing vehicle safety and camera systems to commercial vehicles of all types to include vans, buses, skip loaders, tippers, RCV’s, dry and refrigerated bodied rigids and articulated units.

Operations Manager

Area of Coverage
:
Primarily working in the South/South West area, but would be expected to travel across UK depending on projects.

• Working at client sites installing vehicle safety and camera systems on a range of vehicle types and makes
• Setting up reversing equipment aids and camera systems in accordance with job specification
• Attending customer locations to undertake fault finding, diagnostics for repairs and maintenance
• Liaising with operations team on job assignments
• Occasional Saturday and overnight working away
• Complete tasks within assigned timeframe
• Submit same day customer accepted job sheets

• Conscientious in delivering a quality job
• Motivated self-starter with good personal discipline and application to work

• Fully trained telematics/dashcam/camera and recording systems vehicle technician with minimum of 2+ years’ experience
• Applications from inexperienced motivated to learn candidates, who possess an automotive, mechanical or electrical engineering background will be considered for trainee position
• Good understanding of van and commercial vehicle automotive electrical systems
• Electrical automotive technician qualifications and apprentice trained preferred
• A team player, who is good fun and member of a nationwide team making a positive contribution to a growing business
• Clean UK Driving Licence
