Mobile Electrician needed for a well‑known large Facilities Management organisation based in Liverpool who are looking to employ an experienced and well‑rounded Mobile Electrician that takes pride in their work. This role requires a proven LV Authorized 18th edition qualified Electrical Technician and focuses on developing, maintaining and improving the electrical systems across the Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service estate.

• Carry out the defined planned maintenance regime for all contractual obligations within the contract.
• Ensure Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are in place.
• Issue working permits.
• Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works on plant.
• Attend, diagnose and repair faults having due regard to customer care in this specific environment.
• Carry out proactive plant monitoring activities to ensure efficient utilisation of plant and equipment.
• Interrogate operational information systems to support daily operations and fault diagnosis.
• Complete the relevant paperwork and report diligently.
• Any other relevant duties that may be required, some of which may be outside normal working hours.

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 3 Technical Certificate with the NET AM2 certificate
• Prior experience supervising a team
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and being proactive managing workload
• IT Literate (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel)
• Balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances
• Experience of using a CAFM system
• Good experience and track record in Facilities Management
• Good knowledge of building services and legislation
