Fabric Engineer
Location: Liverpool (Birkenhead)
Contract: minimum 5 months work, may go permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate: £22 per hour
Perks: Contract or temp to perm options available
About the Role:
Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our client’s FM maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a larger residential development, carrying out day-to-day Carpentry upgrades and general maintenance.
- Carry out a variety of repairs, including plumbing & carpentry
- Deliver high-quality maintenance (PPM & reactive)
- Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., patch plaster, tiling, minor electrical etc.)
- Use of PDA to log jobs
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits
- NVQ or City & Guilds L2 intrade (plumbing / plastering / carpentry / tiling)
- Previous experience in a maintenance setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform basic secondary trades
- Weekly pay
- Plenty of overtime - paid at time and a half, double time
