Automatic Door Engineer

Up to £18 per hour. Annual Bonus. Overtime rates at 1.5 or 2.0.

A small but well known, expanding door maintenance specialist is currently looking to bolster its engineering department, and is targeting an additional automatic door engineer to cover the North West region.

As a business they also cover industrial doors, gates, and barriers. Any experience on these product lines would be advantageous.

The out of hours callout rota is not mandatory, and all work is in the North West region, therefore this role would suit an engineer who is searching for a company that can offer a better work‑life balance.

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing automatic doors, gates, and car park barriers.
• Occasional maintenance of industrial doors, roller shutters, sectional doors and steel doors.
• Basic electrical wiring.
• Fault finding on electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Adhering to industry standards.

• Experience working on a wide variety of automatic door systems.
• Relevant industry qualifications such as DHF, EN 16005, NVQ Level 2 Door Maintenance and Repair.
• A driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• A CSCS Card.

• Hourly rate: £15 – £17 per hour depending on experience.
• Annual bonus.
• Premium overtime rates at 1.5 or 2.0 depending on time.
