A small but well known, expanding door maintenance specialist is currently looking to bolster its engineering department, and is targeting an additional automatic door Engineer to cover the North West region.

As a business they also cover industrial doors, gates, and barriers. Any experience on these product lines would be advantageous.

The out of hours callout rota is not mandatory, and all work is in the North West region, therefore, this role would suit an Engineer who is searching for a company that can offer a better work-life balance.

As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Servicing, maintaining, and repairing automatic doors, gates, and car park barriers.
Occasional maintenance of industrial doors, roller shutter, sectional doors, steel doors.
Basic electrical wiring.
Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
Adhering to industry standards.
The successful Door Engineer will have:

Experience working on a wide variety of automatic door systems
Relevant industry qualifications such as: DHF, EN 16005, NVQ Level 2 Door Maintenance and Repair.
A driving licence with no more than 6 points.
A CSCS  return, you will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes:

Hourly rate - £15 - £17 per hour depending on experience
Annual bonus
Premium overtime rates at 1.5 or 2.0 depending on time
