About The Role

The ACC Liverpool Group operates the city's waterfront event campus - the interconnected M&S Bank Arena, ACC Liverpool and Exhibition Centre Liverpool as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician or Electrically Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing temporary power systems in accordance with BS7671 and BS7909, supporting our busy events programme.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the campus.
  • Install temporary power systems in accordance with BS7671 and BS7909.
  • Electrical maintenance and installation work, including inspection and testing.
  • Emergency lighting testing and repair; lighting control and BMS system operation.
  • HVAC servicing and fault finding; energy management; standby generation plant.
  • Oversee work undertaken by service partners; ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Develop and complete risk assessments, work permits, and maintenance procedures.
  • Contribute to energy-saving initiatives and schemes.
Requirements
  • Experience as an Electrician or Electrically Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer; previous industry experience or a strong willingness to apply electrical skills in a fast-paced events sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance; oversee service partners.
  • Experience with risk assessments, work permits, and maintenance procedures.
