This post is open to employees of the five LAASP organisations. By proceeding, you are confirming that you are a current employee of The Clatterbridge Centre, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool University Hospitals, Liverpool Women’s Hospital or, The Walton Centre. Confirmation will be sought for all successful applicants via an IAT
You will be working within a highly skilled multi-discipline pro-active team that not only maintains the estate but also delivers projects to a high standard.
Responsibilities- To work as a member of a multitasking maintenance team providing professional and technical expertise with an effective and efficient focus on service delivery.
- To carry out or oversee the repair/maintenance or installation of complex plant and equipment associated with premises administered by the Trusts Estates department.
- Contribute to a multi-skilled approach and undertake the full range of duties associated with the post holder’s core trade.
- Carry out day to day electrical repairs, planned maintenance and improvements to the Trusts buildings in a manner that conforms to statutory regulations and codes of practice, ensuring smooth running of the Trust.
- Install electrical work and small projects as required.
- Be part of a multi-skilled, multi-discipline maintenance team and participate in the emergency on-call system as required by contract.
- Cross-site working will be required by contractual obligation.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals; have good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Maintain a good understanding of the work of all other trades to support department flexibility.
- Attend courses as required and be willing to partake in an on-call system.
- Read and understand work order cards (PDA), complete relevant details on completion, and maintain performance standards.
- Carry out work detailed on the work order card within the allocated time.
- Perform duties in line with the Trust dress code and uphold the Trust’s values and professional conduct.
- Capable of reading and understanding electrical installation plans and drawings.
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Understanding of the work of other trades to maintain department flexibility.
- Willingness to attend training courses and participate in on-call responsibilities.
