Climant LTD is a specialist air conditioning company delivering service, diagnostics, commissioning, repair, and installation of commercial HVAC systems. We work on VRF/VRV, split, and multi‑split systems for long‑term clients.
While the company carries out installations, this role is focused entirely on service, diagnostics, and repair & PPM. Installation work is not part of this position.
This is a full‑time, field‑based role covering the Warrington to Manchester corridor, with occasional trips out of area but very rarely staying away from home.
This role is focused on service and repair.
You will be responsible for:
- Service, fault‑finding, diagnostics, and repair of commercial air conditioning systems
- Commissioning of new and replacement equipment
- Attending breakdowns and identifying root causes, not just swapping parts
- Carrying out planned maintenance to a high technical standard
- Producing clear, accurate service reports that justify repair decisions
- Communicating directly with clients in a professional, confident manner
You will be expected to work independently, manage your own workload, and make sound engineering decisions without constant oversight.
What We’re Looking For- Proven experience in HVAC service and breakdown work
- Diagnostic ability on VRF/VRV and inverter‑driven systems
- Confident using meters, megger testing, fault codes, and schematics
- Ability to explain faults and repair requirements clearly to clients
- F‑Gas / EPA certification or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration
- Experience will be valued above formal qualifications
- Ability to use manufacturer service tools and software (training can be provided where required)
- It is not an install role
- It is not suited to junior engineers who need step‑by‑step guidance
- It is not a change‑parts‑and‑move‑on job
- Pay above industry average for the right engineer
- Salary based on ability and experience, not time served
- Company van, fuel and top‑of‑the‑range tools
- Proper engineering work, not rushed box‑ticking
- Support from an owner who understands service and diagnostics
- Opportunity to progress as the company grows
- Ongoing training and development where required
If you would like to join a company that is growing rapidly with real industry knowledge, doing things the right way, and offering real career growth, this is the role for you.
