Job Role: Dual Service Operative (Security& Cleaning)

Working Hours: Average 24 hours per week, 4 out of 7 days (as per site rota) - mostly evenings but will be expected to be fully flexible. Overtime will be available.

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour (rising to £13.50 per hour when covering control room shifts)

Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Dual Service Operative to join our established teamat St Johns Shopping Centre, Liverpool.

This role combines both security and cleaning responsibilities,ensuring the centre remains safe, clean, and welcoming for all visitors. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out routine cleaning tasks while maintaining a visible and professional security presence, responding to incidents, and supporting the overall safety and operation of the site.

As part of this role, you will also be required to providecover for the night-time security officers during their periods of annual leaveor absence. During these times, your working pattern will flex to match thelone-working night shift rota (typically 19:00 – 07:00 on a 4 on, 4 off basis).This requirement is an essential part of the role and allows for effective teamcover while maintaining site security standards.

A valid SIA licence is required, a CCTV licence is preferred as this role requires you to provide support in the control room - however, if you do not have a CCTV licence, training is available for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering security services in line with site-specific Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and procedures.
• Monitor and protect the property, people, and assets byidentifying and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to and escalate incidents appropriately to the Control Room, Soft Services Manager, Ops Management, or Emergency Services.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of observations, incidents,and surveillance activities.
• Ensure compliance with legal and site-specific requirements touphold the organisation’s reputation.
• Carry out routine and reactive cleaning tasks, includinglitter picking, spill response, mopping, and general upkeep of the centre.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including the T7 robotic scrubberdryer, to maintain hygiene standards.
• Provide a professional and friendly front-line service to customers and visitors.
• Respond to customer queries and requests with a helpful and solution-focused approach.
• Maintain a visible presence on site, contributing to a safeand welcoming environment.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Collaborate with the wider team to support the smooth runningof the centre.

• Full 5-year employment checkable history
