Responsibilities
  • Make sure that the business runs smoothly by overseeing everyday tasks like cashiering, stocking, and working on the sales floor.
  • Train, coach, and manage a diverse group of sales associates so that they are motivated, led, and developed.
  • To make the most money, you need to manage inventory control, which includes ordering goods, merchandising, pricing strategies, and reducing shrinkage.
  • Make sure that customer service is top-notch by answering questions, handling complaints, and making purchasing a pleasant experience.
  • Plan shift schedules, keep an eye on sales goals, and put marketing plans into action to improve store performance.
  • Help with onboarding processes, conduct interviews to hire new employees, and take part in employee orientation sessions.
  • Take care of administrative duties such keeping correct sales records, handling cash, processing payroll, and bookkeeping.
  • Use POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, but make sure you follow the rules for handling cash.
  • To get the best results from your store, keep an eye on retail math indicators like sales per hour and average transaction value.
  • Make sure that store policies for safety, security, and cleanliness are followed, and that business requirements are met.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a manager in retail sales or fashion merchandising, with a solid history of managing teams.
  • Good at talking to people; being able to speak more than one language is a big plus for serving a wide range of customers.
  • Good at negotiating and able to persuade customers to make decisions and close transactions.
  • Showed knowledge of retail math, buying, pricing tactics, and inventory management.
  • Worked with POS systems, cash registers, and retail software tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Understanding of employee orientation programs, ways to train and develop employees, and ways to hire new ones.
  • Ability to manage cash transactions correctly while still providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to organise and handle many tasks at once in a busy setting.
  • Leadership capabilities such the ability to motivate others, resolve conflicts, and manage shifts.
  • Knowledge of marketing efforts in retail contexts to help with product promotion and sales.
  • As a Sales Supervisor for Retail and Wholesale (Fashion), you will motivate your team to succeed and provide a fun shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.
