This is an opportunity to apply for a Postdoctoral Researcher post in Face Lab, relating to a craniofacial project and the application of dental data to the creation of a 3D digital avatar. You will require a background in 3D animation, computer science and/or anatomical modelling. Knowledge of dental data and 3D visualisation is desirable.

Face Lab, led by Professor Caroline Wilkinson, is an award‑winning collaborative unit that combines art and science to explore facial identity and representation. The group pioneers innovative craniofacial projects in forensic identification and digital heritage, advancing interdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange in heritage, arts, culture, and forensic investigation. Face Lab is a research group within the Forensic Research Institute (FORRI) at LJMU.
