Postdoctoral Research Associate Development of Heterogeneous Catalysts Production

Applications are invited for an ambitious researcher with a relevant track record in the synthesis and evaluation of heterogeneous catalysts. You will work within an interdisciplinary team of researchers to develop new heterogeneous catalysts for conversion of CO2 to light olefins using high-throughput experimental techniques and AI tools. You will have a PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering, a strong publication record, a pro‑active approach and strong expertise in gas phase catalysis testing and in catalyst synthesis and characterisation.

The post is available for 36 months. This position forms part of the recently announced Great British Chemicals initiative.

If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
