As a key member of the surgery team, you’ll work closely with experienced clinical and non-clinical colleagues to provide high-quality care to patients and exceptional service to pet owners. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of cases, develop your clinical interests, and be supported in growing your skills through continuous professional development. Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Deliver excellent clinical care to a high standard
* Provide preventative healthcare and wellness advice to clients
* Diagnose and treat sick and injured pets
* Perform routine and, where appropriate, more advanced medical procedures
* Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
* Work collaboratively with nurses, vets and support staff
* Contribute to maintaining high clinical and customer service standards across the practice
* Promote pet well-being and client education at every opportunity
Requirements
They would love to hear from candidates who have:
* A minimum of three years’ experience in a small animal practice
* Broad GP experience (an interest in medicine and/or imaging would be an advantage, but not essential)
* Strong clinical skills with a commitment to continuous improvement
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive, team-oriented attitude
* A genuine passion for animal welfare and client care
