We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team for 2/3 days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with strong general practice experience whois confident working independently while contributing positively to aclose-knit primary care team.

Dingle Park Practice is a well-established NHS GP surgery located in the Dingle area of Liverpool, providing high-quality primary care services to a diverse local community. The practice is committed to delivering patient-centred care, focusing on accessibility, continuity, and clinical excellence.
Our multidisciplinary team includes experienced GPs, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, administrative staff who work collaboratively to support the health and wellbeing of our patients. We offer a wide range of services including GP appointments, chronic disease management, preventative health care, vaccinations, and health promotion.
Dingle Park Practice operates within a supportive and friendly working environment that values teamwork, professional development, and high standards of patient care. We actively engage with local health networks and NHS partners to ensure patients receive coordinated and comprehensive services.
Dingle Park Practice has a GP on site at all times to support the clinical team. The nursing team meet weekly led by the nurse manager and there is a monthly clinical team meeting.

- Up-to-date immunisation and cytology training
- Experience managing long-term conditions
- Ability to review and interpret laboratory results
- Strong clinical, organisational, and communication skills
- A patient-focused and compassionate approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience managing acute problems
- Contraception

Person Specification Qualifications- Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Evidence of continued professional development (CPD).
- Experience working in a primary care, community, or general practice setting.
- Experience in delivering routine nursing services such as immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, and health promotion.
- Experience managing or supporting patients with long-term conditions (e.g. asthma, diabetes, hypertension).
- Clinical Skills
- Competence in:
- Immunisations and vaccinations
- Cervical cytology (smear tests)
- Health screening and NHS health checks
- Chronic disease monitoring (e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes)
- Knowledge
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures.
- Understanding of safeguarding for vulnerable adults and children.
- Awareness of current guidelines relevant to primary care.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent communication skills with patients, carers, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to provide patient education and promote healthy lifestyles.
- IT Skills
- Basic IT literacy and ability to use electronic clinical systems and patient records.
