Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Huyton
Job
We are currently looking for TWO Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join a friendly team based in Huyton. We use the EMIS Web clinical system and have a practice population of just over 8,500 patients.
The practice team consists of 3 GP partners and 1 salaried GP, 1 ANP, 1 practice nurse and 3 HCAs. The practice is committed to personal development and is a training practice.
Responsibilities- Provide first point of contact within the practice for patients presenting with acute or undiagnosed problems.
- Conduct daily acute visits and lead care plan management at the local care home.
- Work autonomously, with support from GP's and ANP, and be accountable for clinical decisions.
- Take over practice nurse workload during annual leave.
- Accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification at degree level (BSc or Masters).
- Non‑medical prescriber.
- Experience working in General Practice.
- Proven record of personal development.
- Strong knowledge of long‑term conditions.
