An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dermatology outpatients team in Broadgreen hospital.
The successful candidate will be keen to expand their role and continue personal and professional development.
They will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
They will have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good time management skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise your workload.
Main duties of the jobTo oversee both general dermatology clinics and urgent skin cancer clinics supporting the patients and clinicians
To provide nursing support to our specialist services within dermatology outpatients clinics including the dressing clinic, phototherapy and patch testing. Conducting various dermatology assessments and diagnostic tests.
You need to be able to demonstrate good, effective communication skills, to be caring and hardworking professional individual and to be committed to working in a busy and often challenging environment and assist the team in delivering excellent patient care.
To support the move to 3 sessional working to enable the clinic to offer evening appointments for clinics and surgery to patients.

To oversee both general dermatology clinics and urgent skin cancer clinics supporting the patients and clinicians.

Therefore the successful candidate is required to be able to work a range of hours including up to 8pm in the evening
Person Specification Qualifications- Registered Nurse, current NMC registration
- BSc in Nursing (Diploma in Nursing as a minimum)
- Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor Training
- Recent clinical nursing experience as a student or as a registered nurse
- Experience with in relevant clinical setting
- Evidence of maintaining a clinical learning environment
- Evidence of working with learners
- Sound clinical nursing knowledge and a good understanding of nursing issues and clinical governance
- Demonstrates awareness of own limitations
