Job Summary
Exciting opportunity to join the dermatology outpatients team at Broadgreen Hospital. The successful candidate will be keen to expand their role and continue personal and professional development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong time‑management and the ability to prioritise workload are essential.
Main Duties- Oversee both general dermatology clinics and urgent skin cancer clinics, supporting patients and clinicians.
- Provide nursing support within specialist dermatology outpatients services, including the dressing clinic, phototherapy and patch testing.
- Conduct various dermatology assessments and diagnostic tests.
- Assist the team in delivering excellent patient care in a busy and often challenging environment.
- Support the move to 3 sessional working to enable evening appointments for clinics and surgery.
- Be able to work a range of hours, including up to 8 pm on occasion.

- Demonstrate effective communication skills, caring and hardworking attitude, and commitment to working in a busy environment.
- Assist the team in delivering excellent patient care.
- Support the implementation of 3 sessional working to offer evening appointments for clinics and surgery.
- Work a range of hours, including up to 8 pm when required.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- BSc in Nursing (Diploma in Nursing as a minimum).
- Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor training.
- Post‑registration qualification in a relevant specialty.
- Recent clinical nursing experience, either as a student or a registered nurse.
- Experience with in a relevant clinical setting.
- Evidence of maintaining a clinical learning environment.
- Evidence of working with learners.
- Sound clinical nursing knowledge and a good understanding of nursing issues and clinical governance.
- Demonstrates awareness of own limitations.
